This is your official first stop for AIM 2026!

3:00–4:00 PM | ARRIVE, CHECK IN & CONNECT

Arrive between 3:00 and 4:00 to:

• Check in for the conference
• Pick up your AIM badge and conference materials
• Grab a light snack and something to drink
• Say hello to old friends and start meeting new ones
• Settle in and get ready for what’s ahead

4:00 PM | THE CREATIVE EXCHANGE BEGINS

At 4:00, AIM officially kicks off with The Creative Exchange — and yes, we’re putting you to work right away.  You’ll be creating, collaborating, laughing, talking and getting to know some of the people you’ll be spending the next several days with.

We’re keeping the details under wraps for now, but here’s what you need to know:

Come ready to meet people.
Come ready to play.
Come ready to make something.
Come ready to be creative.
(And maybe don’t wear the outfit you’d be devastated to get a little messy. 😉 )

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

The opening event is being held at the Loring Community Arts Center in Loring Park, so please note that this is not our main conference venue. The official address for this event is 1382 Willow Street, Minneapolis (map is below).  This is a very simple walk down the Loring Greenway from the conference hotel (The Hyatt Regency).  And if you’re not staying at the hotel, park anywhere along the edge of Loring Park and walk right in.  The Loring Community Arts Center is listed on Google Maps and is in the southeast area of the park.  Watch for the AIM signs outside!

Light snacks and drinks will be available. This isn’t intended to be a full meal, so plan accordingly.

Most importantly, be there and ready to create by 4:00 PM. You won’t want to miss the beginning of the Creative Exchange.

We have been planning, building, experimenting and dreaming about this conference for months, and we are SO excited that it’s finally time to bring everyone together.

NOTE:  Beginning Saturday morning the remainder of the AIM Conference will be at The Journey Event Center (1625 Hennepin Ave, Suite 150, Minneapolis).  This is off the alley between Loring Park and The Basilica of St. Mary, directly out the back door of Gai Noi Restaurant.
