DETAILS

  • Sellers are responsible for setting up, staffing, and taking down their own space.
  • No electricity or internet access will be provided.
  • Sellers are responsible for pricing, negotiations, and collecting payment. (We encourage sellers to clearly mark prices on items - it makes browsing much easier.)
  • AIM will not handle transactions or mediate disputes.
  • Sellers are responsible for removing all unsold items at the end of the event. Anything left behind may be discarded or donated.
  • Items must be legal to sell and appropriate for a family-friendly event.
  • Commercial businesses, retailers, or manufacturers may not use a Gear Exchange space to market or sell new products. They should reserve a vendor booth instead.
  • AIM reserves the right to refuse or remove items or exhibitors that do not comply with the event guidelines.
  • Spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis after registration and payment.

AIM GEAR EXCHANGE RULES & INFORMATION

The AIM Gear Exchange is a community marketplace where photographers and artists can buy and sell previously owned photography equipment, props, backdrops, artwork, books, and other creative tools.

1. Used Items Only
The Gear Exchange is intended for the sale of quality, previously owned equipment and supplies. New merchandise, commercial inventory, or products intended for retail sales are not permitted.

2. Bring Your Own Table
Each reserved space includes 6 feet of floor space only. Participants are responsible for bringing their own table, chair, displays, and any other setup materials they require.

3. Limited Availability
Only 10 Gear Exchange spaces are available and will be reserved on a first-paid, first-served basis.  One space per seller.  Spaces are 6-feet wide with space for a table.

4. Sellers Manage Their Own Sales
Participants are responsible for pricing, negotiating, collecting payment, providing change, and complying with any applicable tax laws or regulations. AIM does not process payments or act as an intermediary in any transaction.

5. All Sales Are Final
Buyers understand they are purchasing used merchandise directly from individual sellers. All sales are final. AIM makes no guarantees regarding the condition, functionality, authenticity, or value of any item.

6. AIM Assumes No Liability
AIM is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unsold items. AIM also cannot guarantee attendance or sales during the event.

7. Staff Your Space
Participants are responsible for staffing their own space throughout the event. AIM cannot watch or secure merchandise.

8. Remove Unsold Items
All merchandise, tables, and displays must be removed at the conclusion of the event. Items left behind may be discarded or donated.

9. Appropriate Merchandise Only
Items should be photography-, art-, or creative-related and appropriate for a professional, family-friendly event.

10. Commercial Businesses
The Gear Exchange is intended for individuals selling their own used equipment and supplies. Businesses wishing to promote products or services should reserve a commercial vendor booth in the AIM Trade Show.

11. Right to Refuse
Animal Image Makers reserves the right to refuse or remove any participant or merchandise that does not comply with these guidelines or is deemed inappropriate for the event.
